CHANNEL/MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION.

         Following are the channels of transportation.

1- LAND TRANSPORT.

               Trains, trucks and pipelines are the main means of transportation. Trains are very helpful in transporting heavy goods. They are being applied overseas on international routes.

              Trucks are another useful mean of transportation. They are being successfully used Within and among the cities and countries.

              Pipelines are used to transfer oil, gas and water. They are also used to export or import oil and gas.

2- AIR TRANSPORT.

              It is the quickest mean of shifting goods and services. However, it is suitable to move small size and light weight items. It is also very costly mean of transportation.

 

3- SEA TRANSPORT.
